#TheSashaMarinaShow joins @BlogginMamas in Social Good Campaign for @FEMA @ReadyGov #HurricanePrep8/8/2014 Natural Disasters are dangerous, especially when you're not prepared for what might be coming. Living in the Southern East Coast of the US has taught me that you can never be too prepared for the Hurricane Season. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, with the peak occurring between mid-August and late October. The Eastern Pacific hurricane season began on May 15 and will end on November 30. Being prepared for disasters is a shared responsibility. It takes the whole community working together to effectively prepare for, respond to, and recover from the destructive forces of nature and other emergencies and disasters. In the upcoming blog posts I'll be writing about the do's and don't for this and every Hurricane Season. But WAIT! Check out FEMA's new Mobile App, that brings Disaster Resources to the palm of your hand! Don't get left behind in this Stormy Season, check it out and download TODAY.
